Update - Dec. 2009:

In 2 1/2 years as USA TODAY's online Olympics and NHL editor, Dan worked on a number of projects, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

He also contributed photo galleries, charts and graphic ideas that enhanced the coverage of the 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 NHL seasons.

package leading up to the midpoint of the 2008-09 season was a "sights and sounds" gallery on Bruce Boudreau and the Washington Capitals produced by Dan.

Dan also was responsible for producing the NHL Power Rankings page every other week and worked on a photo gallery documenting Lance Armstrong's comeback.
